    Hey All,

A big newbie to both motorcycles and this forum - but loving the look and feel so far.

I have a 2017 Street Triple RS w/ fitted immobiliser.

The bike started fine going to my destination, has been working like a dream since.

When I come back from my meeting, did all the normal (immobiliser off, kickstand up, clutch in, ignition on) and press the starter button. It makes a noise a whinning noise, or somesort of injection noise and nothing else at all.

I've put an Oxford Oximiser 900 on and it said I had 13v and 0.87A, left it for an hour or two and it was in MAINTAIN mode.

    Same story again.

I've looked at the if your bike wont start checklist, and can only think the solenoid or starter is gone but I have no idea!

Really would appreciate some advice, and apologies for being a newb!

It does sound that the starter isn’t engaging onto the gear.
If you hear all the whirring and whining as usual, and it (the starter) spins when you press it, then I can't think of anything else really.
    Able to bump start it?

Forgot to say I could bump start it, luckily had a small decline and managed it!

Sprag in the starter sounds like a suspect.
It's a little bit too common unfortunately :(:(

Had similar on a 675r and it was the battery.
Crank with a voltmeter on the battery and let us know the residual voltage on cranking?

The 675 didn't display any of the slow cranking normal symptoms.
