Hi .....I have a 1997 Tiger 885.......I have purchased new set of inlet (carb to head) rubbers.
My question is...in one end of the rubbers it has what looks like a 0 ring (part of the rubber) and the other end has a flange (part of the rubber) type of fitting.......but which end goes to the carbs and which end to the head stubs?.....looked online (not got a Haynes manual) and cannot find the answer?....and the seller (Flea Bay) does not know...help would be appreciated....Thanks

I assume part no 7 refers? The illustration maybe doesn’t help but logic suggests the respective mating faces of the carb and cylinder head will make it reasonably obvious (o ring ‘up against’ or flange ‘around’j.
