Hi All I am looking to fit a Givi Trekker top box to my Tiger and wondered which rack to get ? Are there any positives / negatives as to the ones you use ? Givi sr225 or SW motech Or is there anything else that I could consider ? Thanks in advance
Givi or Kappa racks accept Givi boxes. Wingrack if you need panniers. Not sure but I believe a Givi adapter plate may be available to fit other racks. You'd have to check that one - I've been wrong before!!
Givi and Kappa are one and the same, so I've been led to believe. I think Givi bought out Kappa years ago ( I may be wrong on that). I thought that Kappa were a German company at one point ( see above cravat). I have a Givi adapter plate on my TBird with a Kappa box but I think the opposite is also true that Kappa plates fit Givi boxes. Kappa boxes are cheaper for some reason which is the reason why I put a Kappa box on.
You need a givi SRA6404,that is the aluminium strong plate,that I had on mine,the plastic version sits higher and is further away from the bike,the ali one sits right up by the seat and is much stronger.
