Ok bike is due a service will be 4 years old but only got 15000 miles on clock.Has had 1st service then 6000m 1 year later then 12000m service had an oil change only service at 14000m by dealer when I bought it so now it is due another service. So in my mind its a 6000/18000m service plus age related stuff like brake fluid, fuel hose and evap hoses .It doesn't need valves plugs or air filter yet based on mileage or does it?.It won't be going to a dealer for a 24000m service or any other as the cost is prohibitive.Under warranty not a choice but now hardly worth a grand outlay for any noticeable extra resale value.
Service was done at 12000 miles by Triumph dealer so all the valves plugs etc would have been done then the bikes only done 3000m since last major service. So its just the age related stuff brake fluid and fuel hoses that would need to be done with an annual service.
The bikes last oil change service was about 11 months ago when I got bike so its due an oil change at least and looking at its age the other stuff is age related rather than mileage covered.
Bikes out of warranty now so no real gain paying for extortionate servicing costs.I was just going to give it an oil change service then change brake fluid and fuel hose and obviously all the normal service stuff.Just really wanted another opinion.
Well if it's out of warranty just do it yourself. Nothing that needs doing needs a degree in spaceoligy.
