Where's Wally now? (Whoops I mean the big lad)

Currently in Kidderminster after having a fabulous few days along the south coast meeting up with Folkbloke (Dick); then onto Loomies and met Steve>

From to Bishops Waltham and the "Big bad biker day" - this was truly tremendous ! Thousands of different bikes and great people. Met with the Idiot Collective and shared Rock music, cake/red wine/cheeses and salami with pistachio nuts YUMMY !

Then onto my sis for a couple of days and now Kidder>

Tomorrow going up to Leeds and more family and soon-to-be friends.

This trip is surpassing my expectations - just shows how great travelling is !!!!!

 

Be afraid, be very afraid, entering Yorkshire is not for the faint hearted Big Lad, but as my pal said to me there IS one good thing about Leeds, the M1 out! He lives in Barnsley so can be ignored, he just bought a new 1200 Tigger as well, might just get over Yorkshire border with a bribe, or Premium payment to speed things up as they say abroad. I'm going back to me cave to light a fire... hunting party due back.

 

I was telling Tigcraft earlier , there is an endless stream of Harley's coming into Lincolnshire to the showground , a Super european Harley rally . I went up there earlier to have a look & there has been Harleys constantly streaming into the area on all the main roads in (which luckily aren't too bendy) , an estimated 15,000 coming apparently . I went for a ride up to a place called motortown cafe & there were Police all over the shop , dont know whether they were hoping to catch a speeding Harley or what lol , but I think they've got their knickers in a twist over a few chapters possibly coming in.

 

Went to the European Rally when it was on the Costa Del Sol, Lloret De Mar.

 

Still hoping to meet up with thebiglad at the ace cafe, so let me know what time your going to be there and hopefully I'll know if I can make it by tomorrow

 

Yep he is coming on down to you at Ace Crispey after Northampton. VERY sociable with everybody, Tig and me met at Squires inc getting a close up of Dave's bike on Look North TV and me and Tig could be seen as a reflection in the nearside mirror. That biker he "missed very slightly" was immediately offered an apology. MAG rideout from Squires was a protest to try and get bikes allowed into bus lanes in Leeds AND the fact motorcycles were not mentioned at all in the new Transport policy. I'd guess 150 ish bikes took part. Time fer chip butties and bacon butties, then we went into York to the Triumph dealer for 25 years of Hinckley open day which was very well attended. Great sunshine, great bikes, great day.

 

Ok! chances are I am going to be working though but I live in hope!

 

The Biglad has left the building.

We've just seen him off to the ferry at Newhaven. A splendid evening was had by all and it was a pleasure to meet him

 

Yo FB, yes it really was a pleasure to meet such a very sociable guy, even the Yorkshire border guards liked him...

 

Top bloke - sorry we ate all the cheese and drank the red wine before he got to you!

 

Well boys, now back home after having a truly wonderful trip.
