The bad name came from the 70's/80's when the biker gangs were at their height. Unfortunately, shit sticks.
You could have 100 bikes doing a charity run raising thousands, then 1 twat doing 100 mph in a 20 zone and kills a child. Which do you think people are going to notice? Not the 100 bikes, that's for sure.

Guess its the same for car drivers, every now and again there is one twat or twatess nowadays, who -wants to overtake in a 30 when the car in front is doing that speed or drive in a lane that's closed until the cones are just about touching their front bumper, then cuts in last minute!!
But all car drivers don't get Tarred by them, usual double standards of an increasingly intolerant society?

It wasn’t the bad name from the 70’s/80’s when biker gangs were at their height, gangs of young men have been riding in groups/gangs since the 50’s and problems would occur.
There were bigger problems in the 60’s with the Mods and Rocker altercations than what I can remember in the 70’s/80’s.
Yes we can be our own worst enemy, we all like the freedom and speed obtained from riding a motorcycle but as you say it only takes one.
