When fitting Sprint 955i luggage rails is the modified lifting handle required? i.e. is it part of the assembly structure or is it just a relocation of the lifting handle? Thanks, Mark
Will take some pictures of the set up on my ST when I go in the garage later, but mine has what looks like an upside down footrest bolted on left side that acts as a lift handle.
Many thanks for that. It is still not clear to me if it is a required part of the structure though the pictures suggest it is not. Also can see the bumper strut on the mudguard. I have been following your Sprint resurrection thread. Nice one!
Thanks, glad photos were useful, from memory I think @Adie P said the handle had been added by previous owned to assist getting it on centre stand when panniers fully loaded.
