I don't know if I posted here already or not, so I figured I would now. I'm Joe and I recently bought my first bike in over 30 years. The first one died tragically after only a few months of ownership thanks to someone else's recklessness and my youth (I was only 21). Have not had the opportunity nor the pleasure to have one again until now. I now have a 2020 Thruxton RS named (sharp inhale) Gemma (Arterton) aka Dusty Springfield aka Polly Grey. I'll be on rarely but I check in from time to time to get advice and see what others are doing with and to their rides. On the other side of the pond from most of you but a fan of most things British. Cheers
Thanks! So far I've only done the throttle spacers mod, swapped the original grips for barrel grips, and if the weather is as shitty as forecasted, I will be adding a Ram center stem ball mount with a Quad Lock phone clip and high rise clip ons. Other plans include a tail tidy (haven't decided on which yet) Rizoma bullet signal lights front and back, and maybe a Tamarit belly pan. I originally wanted an R in white but this one fell into my lap at an unbeatable price so long term have her either wrapped or painted. Also watching Thornton Hundred Motorcycles to see if they go into production with an airbox eliminator kit for the RS. So far I've only seen them for the R.
Hello Joe from Joe across the pond. Yes i really nice looking steed you have there. The inmates here in the asylum will surely ogle the picture as it is one of the favoured colours here. Welcome to the family and nursey will be along soon to sort out your meds. Joe.
That’s a smart looking mechanical velocipede. Hope you really enjoy running about on it. Photos of good days out are appreciated. Welcome to the forum.
