M5 but don’t remember exactly where
    145mph 92Fireblade just after I serviced it A1M again :p

Me I never go fast. The bike sometimes has a mind of its own. I hardly ever look at a speedo just have a fast and a slow mode.
    Regards
    Joe.

Probably doesn’t count for much, but I have seen 106 on my dial. I prefer twisties to straights though ; i find it difficult to hang onto the bars of a naked at high speed. Me thinks I need a bit more gym :D

An indicated 182mph on a 1st gen ZX-10R. A normally very straight motorway seems a bit more twisty at that speed. :p

About 140 mph, on a return trip from the south east of france. I was riding a BMW R1100S on long sweepers and the bike was remarkably stable at high speed bends.

    In 1991 a ZZR1100 did apparently 170 plus twice on the M62.
A salesman said to me, I don't know why me but he did, would you buy one of these?
I said no as didn't float my boat but before i finished the guy behind said he'd had 185 out of the newer of the two sub 500 mile one.

    The salesman wasn't too chuffed!

I did well off the clock on a 1983 Laverda RGS 1000 , every 3000 ish rpm was worth a $1 , I saw 11000 RPM on the tachometer in Top gear on 7 KLM straight somewhere in Australia lol .
At 80 kph you travel 4 to 5 klms in a minute , took 30 to 40 seconds and then brakes got a good working out

Suzuki RF900r... indicated 140mph ish which felt pretty quick to me on that private road... but it was always more about the acceleration, that was the fun bit.

Going really fast in a straight line has never been the highest on my list of priorities but I did take my CBR600FV to around an indicated 150mph just to see what it was like. It's just hanging on!

Never been one for speeds I am content to potter around I prefer country lanes to motorways, and the fact that the establishment only lend you a licence and take it away to easy helps to make me conform.
Besides I have an inbuilt bowel indicator that would open in extremes of high excitement.
