RIP Murray, a true old school motorsports Gentleman of a bygone era. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/56388596
Well, he had a good innings and a great career. I think anyone would have gone happily at that age. RIP.
I met him at goodwood in 2010 when he signed a book for me. Chatted about bikes for 10 minutes. Legend is a term used far too often but in this case he truly was. RIP Murray.
Yes I remember Murray he was great used to get very carried away when commentating. Sad loss no mater of age. God Bless Murray and rest in peace. Joe.
RIP Murray, the voice of F1 for most of us Lived a good life and made many happy with his genuine kindness
His Dad Graham raced bikes and competed at the TT many times. Murray briefly did a bit of 2 wheel racing before turning to commentary/journalism.
