    Classic 675 :)
I was in Staffordshire Triumph a few weeks back and I was looking at the 765s, walking around thinking to myself "Triumph did an amazing job on them, making what is actually a nice looking bike. Absolutely, completely ruining the looks by using the worst colour schemes I've just about ever seen".:)

Have a soft spot for the original R as I had one. Great bike all round. Mine was the matte graphite but I think I’d go for the matte orange if I could do it all over again.

I've had a 2013 675r and a 2018 765rs. Couldnt choose between them! I still think the street triple is Triumphs best offering.

I'm very much a Gen 1 ST fan and have a really strong (and utterly biased) preference for the early, "oddball" colours like the Frogsnot Green; Tango Orange and Imperial Purple. Uniquely strong, striking, purposeful colours that reflected - and emphasised - the bike's (contemperaneously) outrageous styling cues .... such as low set, twin chrome headlamps; high slung, twin exhausts suggesting an overall balance to the styling brief.

Personally, I find the later styling to be compromised by either fashion (the rhomboid Gen 2 headlamps) or legislation (the single outlet, low slung silencer) and there's no real point even discussing the Gen 3 "colour" schemes!

    Yes, utterly biased.

'T would, I think, be quite refreshing if Triumph (et al) did use more imaginative naming conventions for paint colours but no, unfortunately, "Frogsnot Green" was not an official paint colour name. It WAS a great colour, though .....

...... as was "Dog Pecker Pink" on the Mk II Speed Triple ....

We had an 08 until recently, it was a fantastic bike, the new one wasn't worth 7k more in my opinion.
    I really do miss it.
