Two blasts from Dunoon to Inveraray to Tyndrum and back, just over 130 miles on fabulous A roads and I honestly could not have gone any faster. Roads were dry and traffic light. The bike returned a tad over 50 mpg. The only downside is I was focusing on the road not the scenery. This Thruxton R never ceases to please.
