Featured Touring Whanganui 12th Annual Dice Run

After missing the 11th annual event, due to Covid-19 lockdown, we booked early for this annual pilgrimage.

safe ride down, but a little tired, so quiet refreshments at the Whanganui chapter club and a duck larb salad at the local Thai restaurant.

 

up early for breakfast and registration for the dice run.
Start was the local Caltex station, with dice stops at the Rat pit in bulls, the Kimbolton Tavern, and the Hunterville Hotel.
107 registrations, made for an exciting and challenging ride


Caltex was overrun with bears bikes

 

The stops involved a 4 die throw, refreshments, and socialising, before a quick brief on safety and the directions.

Ride home was cool but fine, with great weather all weekend
Temperature drop at the National Park was noticeably cooler.
