Not really a ride out as such as we're staying in Westbourne all week. (Another house-sit looking after a wonderfully foolish dog). Cold start at 8.00 am yesterday with a heavy ground frost, so avoided most of the usual back roads and stuck to the M3 and A27. Tiger parked up behind locked gates in a Georgian walled garden. The coastal town of Emsworth is just down the road on the Hampshire West Sussex border. The mill pond was still frozen. Spotted this old mill for sale - a bargain at £1,495,000.00!
We're signed up to an organisation called Trusted House Sitters. You can apply to them to do a sit anywhere in the world. Once you've become established then people contact you asking if you can sit for them - we probably get two to three requests every week.
Sorry to jump in, but do you have any details on the screen fitted to that tiger? Is it adjustable (tilt, height)? I'm on the hunt for something for my 2002 speed Triple... Thank you for any info!! Safe riding!
Sorry to jump in, you said! Reminded me of my 2 excellent weeks in Abingdon in the early 60s doing my parachute training from an Hastings. Yes, I really am that old. Think they’ve moved it away from there now? Sorry can’t help with the screen. Cheers, Ken.
Yes, it's a Madstad screen and its adjustable for height and tilt. Probably the best screen you can get for the Tiger. Expensive but half price on Ebay!
Out and about today but no sun anymore. Hayling Island for a bacon roll at John's Cafe, situated on the remains of the launching ramps for some sections of the Mulberry Harbour before it was dragged over to Normandy. Bognor Regis Goodwood Airfield
