Took my Speed Triple 1200RS to the new Triumph dealership, West Coast Triumph, Hillington, Glasgow for 2 remedial issues; fan heat shield and clutch detent spring and arm. Very impressed with the set up and staff. A warm welcome on arrival. Easy booking in, free tea or coffee and a nice seating area should you want to wait. There is a viewing window into the workshop a selection of new motorcycles, clothing and accessories. Braehead shopping centre is about a 30 min walk away (1.3 miles according to google maps). We are now blessed with two very good dealerships in central Scotland one on each coast. I have had experience of both and would have difficulty having a preference.
I bought my Triumph Speed 400 at West Coast in May - very impressed with the welcome I received, availability of test bikes and dealing with the sales team. Ringing the bell and getting a big cheer when the purchase was made was a nice touch..... that might annoy some people, but I thought it was a bit of fun! Hopefully the servicing side is just as well sorted.... it's in for the 600mile service later this month.
Service & MOT was cheaper than an independent I had previously used. But bike got a thorough going over.
I'm trying to get my first service done and dusted, get the bike unrestricted and get full power to have even more fun!
Here we go again....took the bike in for a replacement quickshifter. Excellent service again. A.warm friendly welcome, comfortable chair, quality coffee and biscuits whilst you wait. Glass screen through to watch the work being done. Fabulous.
Morning, mine is in next week for these indicators being full of condensation, really bad every time I wash the bike they end up all wet inside then takes ages to get rid of it. Might upgrade to the evotech scrolling ones if it happens again
This might be handy to know - if your bike is in West Coast Triumph for a couple of hours or more, the No22 Silverburn to Braehead Shopping Centre bus stops nearby on the main road and lets you pop into the shopping centre/cafes/restaurants at Braehead. Don't know the fare.... I have my over 65's bus pass.... but it can't be much, it's a short journey.
