Weslake Power Cone Slip On's.

Has anyone fitted the weslake silencers to a street twin? I like the note of the standard pipes, but fitting something shorter in length would be more to my taste aesthetically.
I am interested if the exhaust note is similar to standard pipes. A few more dB is o.k. but want to keep that nice tone.
Any advice, or suggestions on these, or other pipes would be much appreciated.
