Had a good couple of day's in Wales.
Based ourselves in Rhayader, good B&B but not exactly heaving with night life but that suited a couple of old coggers like us.
Rode up Saturday stopping at Doms Bike Stop just outside Leominster for a tasty lamb burger.
Sunday we rode the Elan Valley,a great biking road,a bit narrow in places with loose sheep and a good scattering of sheep crap to keep you on your toes.We went as far as Devils Bridge then over to New Quay(not the Cornish one) for chips by the harbour.
Came back via Llandovery and had a fairly lengthy detour due to some road works and not to many roads across the Brecon Beacons.
Today we had a relaxing ride back. Abergavenny bus depot for a quick coffee and a ride back through the Forest of Dean.
    Wife's liking the new Tiger 800 :D

We managed to not get wet as well, that's a first for us in Wales.

I think the heads were a Celtic tribal thing :D but we took them anyway.

It's a long story as to why her indoors got the comfy one but it involves bad backs ,lack of wind protection and 2 years of her deciding what to change her Street for :mad:
