Let’s assume you don’t have a mouse riding pillion. Give the shock absorber bushes and piston rod a squirt of WD40 or similar. See if the noise disappears or changes.

Hi Ian, yep standard Storm belt chirp. There are two trains of thought on this: 1. Spend a lot of time trying to align the tyres exactly 2. The Triumph recommended belt tension is too great and needs to be slackened slightly. There is no definitive on it however and the options to mask it is either silicon spray or candle wax on the side of the belt. Hope that helps.
