May be a daft question but can a set of vacuum gauges be used on a fuel injection engine. Used to use them on a Zx9 but not sure if they can be used on the ST 1050 as a mate has a set going spare. I have read articles about the Tune ECU but wasn’t sure whether I could use the gauges instead and if so where do you connect them up?

I'll have a quick shufti in the Haynes manual. Sit tight........

"the throttle bodies cannot be synchronised in the normal way by using a set of vacuum gauges.... they can only be synchronised using the Triumph engine management system diagnostic tool"

All you can do with throttle flaps on a fuel injected engine is set the synchronization using a drill or something similar, so they all move the same amount at the time as there is only one TPS on a multi cylinder engine, so all must be in sync.
