Just took delivery of a new Thruxton R, upon taking it home I was fitting a Go Pro mount near the front headlight and I noticed that the front brake micro-switch cable sleeving terminates about 15mm short of the switch itself, thus leaving 3 very slender wires exposed and resting upon the front brake metal hose, this has the potential for the wires to chafe...took it back to the dealers and looked at another 3 new Thruxtons in the showroom, all had the same issue.. I have carried out a temporary repair until it goes in for its first service, bloke in the shop said he was going to raise this with Triumph...might be worth you all checking if you have the same issue...
