Apparently the count following ‘a certain, recent election’ is incomplete, uncertified and cannot yet be forwarded to the Electoral College to determine the eventual winner. It looks certain to be decided in the Courts on the basis of permissible votes and may involve State legislatures too because that is the constitutional path in an inherently political process. Then the Supreme Court in its constitutional capacity. I find the procedural side probably more interesting than the political because all the checks and balances in the US system inhibit any one part - President, Senate, Congress - from running amok. So, this is the place for respectful observations on the upcoming dance that will beat anything Strictly could choreograph this side of Christmas . It is increasingly less about who wins rather than who loses.....and the whole nature of loyalty and to whom or what. Any Stateside observations?
