You won’t need new tyres for the Thruxton Richard if you leave your postcode on your profile.
Welcome to the forum. Someone with a Thruxton will be along to offer advice with tyres.

A friend of mine uses the Dunlop Arrowmax tyres & is the happiest he's been with the bike.

He did have Metzler Lasertec, but really struggled to get them warmed up properly & so struggled for grip & feel (A common criticism of those tyres in the UK in general I've noticed)

It'll soon be time for my Scrambler to have a new set of tyres - I'm trying TrailRiders next. She'll be 9yrs old when they're changed & still on original tubes & rim tape. The last set were fitted by a dedicated tyre shop & I asked them about it & they just said they'd replace if necessary - which they didn't do, even though they would have made more money. So what is the usual time scale to change these - or is it best to just leave it to the experts?
