Is anyone using tuneecu with their Android phone? (I don't have a laptop)
I'm looking to download this but can't find a cable to go from my phone to the motorcycle

Does this android version have all the features of the laptop version and do you like the way it works?

I’m using it on Android, helped me with the 12,000 mile service. I was able to reset the service spanner, balance the throttles check for fault codes, check idle speed.
I haven’t downloaded any fuel maps and I don’t want to as my bike has had the Hilltop treatment. What are you hoping to do with it?

I need to read the codes.
Also I bought this bike with an aftermarket exhaust which may require remapping.

To use this app I need a cable to go from my phone to the diagnostic connector on the bike - where did you get yours?

I use a Bluetooth adapter, no cable involved. Like I said I've not done anything with maps so can't help there. The tunecu site will give advice on which is the best to buy.

Here is the one I've used, it's a bit more expensive but reliable. IMG_20190708_165401.jpg

There’s two versions of the Android app, make sure you get the full version which works with cable and Bluetooth and has the full functionality :)
The Lite version only works on Bluetooth

I prefer a hard wire connection but can't find the cable.
Is the picture I originally posted, priced at $10.99 the full version?

If you want a wired connection go for the Lonelec cable. There’s loads of info about them being the only ones that don’t get connection issues

It works well via Bluetooth and can even download your ECU map, but to upload a new map you must use an USB cable.

This whole Tuneecu is a circle jerk.
Says I have to purchase thru Google Play. Says there's two versions, the Full and the Lite, but Google Play doesn't say which they're selling. Their forum doesn't appear to be worth a crap - SOOO - is there another scanner/tuner as good or better than this?

Google play only sells the full version !
The builder of "tuneecu" Alain supplies the "trial version" via his site.

If you read the full description on the Play Store it should tell you if it’s for cable and Bluetooth or Bluetooth only.
The Play Store UK version gives this in the description, showing as version 4.2

You’ll need an OTG adapter to connect to your Android device.
All this info is on the Tuneecu website and there’s guides on their forum. I don’t get why so many people seem to struggle with Tuneecu and getting connected

Their website doesn't seem to be laid out very well or maybe it takes time to get use to. Also the technology is new to some people..like me! There's very little going on in the forums...but anyway, here's the cable and adapter I'm looking at -

Not yet, but from what it looks like there might be more information in the forums here than on there's!
