Trying to do a reset adaption on a 2016 speed triple r. I've followed the instructions perfectly up until the point it says wait 15-20 minutes for rhe TPS light to go Green. A Google search suggests the TPS light should be on the bottom left but i have no button there(see photo) Perhaps the instructions are for the windows version and im using the android Bluetooth version. Any suggestions???
your throttle bodies are slightly out of spec mate. It's been a bit since I've used it but isn't that the tps (see pic)
Thanks for being helpful. I believe that is the connection light / icon on the Andriod Bluetooth version.
Hi, first make sure you have the latest version loaded on your phone from Play Store, the previous version had the "Tests & Adjustments" grayed out/disabled (for me) which was fixed once I checked and loaded the update. Then you should be able to follow the steps below....... 1st screen 2nd screen from the drop down menu clicking top right ECU Then Tests & Adjustments Then Adjustments And there's your Reset Adaption. If you go to the 3rd/last screen you can add a shit load of other information too, just select from the sensor list.... There's loads more than what I've selected in my screen above, all I need to do now is make sense of half of it.
Brillant post and info thanks mate. Fortunately I managed that all OK, but i believe there is a second step where you need to rum the engine up until the TPS light goes green and it is this TPS light in the second stage I m struggling with.
I've used the Windows version for over 10 yrs and yes there is a TPS "light" but doesn't exist on the Android version, you just get the data transfer light flickering away. IIRC with the Android version when I did a reset I got a notification that said "Done", so I assume that is in effect the equivalent of the TPS light, instructions should be the same as for the Windows version in other respects. BTW it seems they've stopped support for the Windows version but is still downloadable and still works fine for me (on a 2015SpeedTriple - and wife's StreetTriple)
