    Good evening all.

No, I don't have a Triumph - yet. But I do intend to get one. Presently I ride a Ducati 748 and Peugeot Speedfight 100. In the past I've had:
    - Garelli Tiger 50cc :)
    - Suzuki GT185 :expressionless:
    - Kawasaki KH250 :):):)
    - Suzuki GT550 :):)
    - Honda GL500 Silver Wing :(
    - Yamaha FZR1000 EXUP :):):)
    - Ducati 748BP :):):):)
    - Ducati Monster M900 :):):)
    - Peugeot Speedfight 100 :)

I love my Duc but my wife won't ride pillion on it (don't blame her, nor would I) and I'm getting on in life and could do with something more 'gentile' plus the roads around SW Ireland are not the most forgiving. I had this great idea of buying a British bike of the same vintage as me (1960!) but then I saw the prices :scream::scream::scream:. So, after much research (but no test rides yet) I've settled, in my heart, on a modern day T100 Bonnie. Almost certainly 2nd hand, I just have to find the right one.

So I'm here to learn from all of you, much as I've learnt from those on A N Other forum and I look forward to the banter.

    Paul.

    Welcome, Paul.
Plenty of folk on here with Bonnies so you should have lots of info available.
I know what you mean about Irish roads being unforgiving. Before I retired I used to be a lorry driver delivering float glass from the UK to such places as Balleydesmond - the furthest we went - and some roads were atrocious! Extending the motorway network was a good move, as was the new road past Castleisland!:)

Yep, the 748 is perhaps not best suited for the roads around her, hence my desire for something additional.

Yep, I discovered that on the other forum. I thought I'd be an 'oldie' but no. It seems the average age of motorcyclists these days is in our 50s. Now there's a thought, do SAGA have a motorcyclists section?;)

Welcome Paul. Get a test ride on the T120 too mate and compare them before committing yourself.
