And I know i can get all parts in the uk. Is there any place in the uk that restores engines and transmissions for a tiger 100? And maybe some one knows what’s it will cost ?:) hope to get a lot of help and knowledge from this forum :)

Although they are/were (perhaps) more inclined towards BSA, www.srmclassicbikes.com have an excellent reputation (I'm led to believe) in engine rebuilds - BSA, Triumph and Norton. :)
Others are available but this is the first that came to mind. No doubt I'll come up with more, but others herein may have plenty of alternatives.

Just looked at the SRM website and Triumph twins feature heavily! :grinning:

Hi mate and welcome! This could make for a nice read if you care to share the build progress on the forum. There is a special category for builds where members can follow your progress and assist when you have any questions etc.

Hard to say because it depends on what needs to be done. Others who have had work done may have a better idea, but I wouldn't expect much change out of £2,000. I will happily stand correction on this!

That is one very interesting and entertaining website.:) Looks like he does a good job. I particularly liked the Triton with an electric start - deep joy!!:grinning:

    OI!!! JEZ!!! OLDER??? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

    Well ..... actually ..... err ..... yes:confused:.
But who's counting? I gave up years ago but started forgetting where I'd left off. But that's just an age thing and if/when I forget it doesn't seem to matter so much.
However, SWMBO is putting about an awful rumour that I have a birthday coming up next month: unamused:. I'll do my best to ignore it!:p
