Hi everyone, I just became an owner of a new Speedmaster and picked up a card for the Triumph Owners Motor Cycle Club. Went to the website to look it over and really wasn't able to ascertain much about the club or it's activities. There is a Indiana Branch called the "Hoosier Branch" (people from Indiana are Hoosiers not Indianans. So can anyone tell me about the group? Is it a worthwhile investment? Thanks and keep the rubber side down.
Hi steve! Even if its not as technical as you may require its a great place to see if there's ride outs or piss ups happening in your area? Got to be worth a few $ to introduce yourself to the area/group?
I'm not very demanding, it just didn't say much about the organization. I thought they could have been a bit more forthcoming about their activities. I was at a Bike resort in the Smokie mountains when the Triumph riders were there and they were fun.
A quick search and https://www.facebook.com/Hoosier-TOMCC-109468894171287/ If you are local pop down and have a look.
The TOMCC have worldwide groups, there are lots going on in America and Europe (when Covid restrictions ease), a new group is now established in America, there are international rallies, France, Italy the UK and USA, you get access to a vast array of services such as technical help, you get access to specialist tools from other members when needed, the monthly magazine Nacelle keeps you abreast of what is going on such as ride outs and meet ups, they are active in the worldwide DGR. Have a look at the TOMCC UK website for members and you will see what it has to offer. I have been a member for a long time and find it to be excellent, hope this assists
So do you guys do group rides and things like that? Just curious. Thank you, I just wondered. It sounds like a great group to me then. I was a member of a model specific group and enjoyed the magazine which came out at wildly irregular times but there were not a lot of members locally. From the picture of the Indy Triumph group it appears that won't be an issue.
