Hi, having riden a Honda Hornet for the last 10 years I was pleased as punch to pick up my brand new speed triple rs last Friday. The grunt, the torque, the speed, wow. Had a fantastic weekend riding around the lakes in Cumbria (UK) breaking the rs in gently. Even a gentle squeeze on the throttle is enough to put a smile on your face. Need to find some new routes to explore the 1050's capability. A bit disappointing to see the tool kit comprises of a lowly Allen key but must admit its the only downside to the speed. Already half way to the first service. Has anyone fitted a smaller tail tidy? Was the installation easy? Do like the look of em. Later BrB
Welcome. I've had R&G tailtidy on my Speed Triples and to be honest they are alright but would prob not get another one. The fit is alright but I don't think the quality feel is on par with the rest of the bike. Wouldn't go as far to say it makes the bike look tacky, but there is deffo better things out there. https://motostarz.com/products/evotech-performance-tail-tidy-16-20-triumph-speed-triple-s-rs Evotech might be an option.

The tail tidy does look neat and defo will be a consideration.
Howdy and welcome! That Speed Triple is an amazing machine. Enjoy getting to know it. P.S. you got a tool kit? Jealous...
Hi, went up the A65 from Devils Bridge to Windermere then North up to Penrith, across to the A6 then South on the A6 down to Manchester. Great ride. Recommend anywhere/roads in the Lakes for a good ride? BrB
Welcome to the loony bin!! Conquest Carbon may have something for your bike, and they give discount to forum members!
Thanks, like the sound of the west coast road. Will give it a try, just takes a long time to get to Furness. Let us know if Solway is worth it. Cheers
I put on the Evotech tail tidy. Simple enough job. The only awkward bit was tidying up the wiring and ended up wraping the loom round the main tailtidy support before attaching the underplate. If you get one this should make sense. Its a quality piece of kit. Photo attached.
