    Evening all
Proud new owner of a 2012 Speed Triple R and couldn't be happier.
This is the first bike I've had where I literally have to do nothing to it to make it feel special - it just has it all. And the sound it makes is just incredible
The only thing I would like is some heated grips as I would use the bike during winter. I like the look of the triumph ones as the button is small and inconspicuous but I cannot seem to find a model number for the 2012 version. Failing this I'll have a look at the Oxford Hot Grips. Does anyone have experience fitting these? Coming from sports bikes I've had loads more space to hide cables and wouldn't really want them sticking out of the Speedy.

As soon as I work out how to post a pic I Will

    Thanks

The length is what you must check as they are all different.

Another noob error there. I thought the different lengths were of the wiring not the grips.

Welcome aboard mate. In your place I'd spend a little more and buy a pair of heated gloves, or heated inner gloves, especially where you don't have hand guards to deflect the wind from the back of your hands and knuckles. I have heated inners powered by a battery. I've also got Oxford grips on a Sprint, and Triumph ones on my Tiger. The Oxford ones are dead easy to fit, and have more heat settings than the Triumph ones. The Triumph ones are a neater fit on the other hand (no pun intended, honestly).

Though the observant will notice that the rider is conspicuously absent from the shot, so we only have his word for it that he prefers leather to buff.
