    Afternoon everyone,

I've had my 2009 Triumph Bonneville T100 in the garage for just over a month and have come back to find a horrendous oil leak underneath the bike. Any suggestions?

Pictures are rather close up to confirm the general area of the leak but as it is just behind the sight glass it looks to me to be from the front sprocket and would appear to be chain lube or general gunge from the chain.
I suggest you take the sprocket cover off, have a look and clean the area.

Hi I had the same thing on my 2003, turned out to be build up of chain lube behind the sprocket cover.
Hope yours I’d the same easy fix.

Cool, thanks, I'll take it apart and have a look. It looks like it could be the chain cover. I'll update if it's not

So I took off the front sprocket cover for the chain and it was gopping. Full off gunk. Got the cillit bang out and cleaned it all up, mopped up all the lubricant that had run down the casing and the bottom of the engine. Cleaned up the chain, lubed it up and replaced. Bike seems back to normal. Thanks for all the advice gents.
