Hope I've posted this in the right forum, but I need a starter motor solenoid for my '97 Triumph Adventurer. I just need to know if anyone has any experience with changing one, if they would recommend buying the standard Triumph part or is there a better after market one? Cheers in advance
there is a new thunderbird sport one on ebay for 16.95 item153123521037, which is the same part as yours according to the Fowlers website or their price for the same part is 33.74. Apparently there are Honda and Kawasaki parts that work too but I havent found which models, there are a few posts in the following link that may be useful to make sure it is the solenoid before you buy and a guy in Ireland fitted a honda part but doesnt say which model, to his Trophy 1200 https://www.triumphrat.net/search.php?searchid=26276980&pp=25
