Advice.. Hi all, new on forum.
Just bought my Triumph Street Triple R . Had been garaged for 3 years. I know I need to change all fluids and need new battery.
Any advice on starting it without causing internal damage.
    Thank you.

The biggest thing is filling all the oil galleries and valve gear that have dried up over storage. Disconnect the plug caps and crank it over a bit before reconnecting and attempting to start. Ditto the clutch which may have stuck plates that inhibit gear selection. Warm it up and work the lever.

Hi Mick and welcome to the forum  As Callamity mentions plus always good to get the wheels up and give them a spin to check bearings and right and left on bars a few times before taking for the first ride. Let it idle a while to get used to the normal running sound.
I would clean chain and reoil as well to ensure smooth ride so you can feel the bike.
Best of luck and congrats on new ride.
    Looking forward to some pix

Welcome aboard Mick, hope you enjoy the forum, good advice above, it would pay to get the tyres checked too, unless it's been stored on paddock stands it may have flat spots where it's been stood, pictures would be great as said and all the best in getting your new steed up and running.
