Well done Ireland , I'm sure it will pain alot of Irish to cheer England . As a Englishman who lived in Ireland for over 20 years I know how much they hate us . Its a bit like us and the Germans . It's not personal it's just history ☺️
France deserve the grand slam this year. The best teams won all day today. France could well be world champions next autumn. Ireland might be worth a little wager as well.
Interesting to hear Dallaglio talk about Shaun Edwards and his success as a coach and how Twickenham failed to secure his services when they had the opportunity. I said before the tournament started that France were in with a shout, if I knew my way round a betting shop I’d have put a pound or two on them, maybe worth a punt for the World Cup? Italy fully deserved the win and played very well, game of the day for me. Had they kicked those points missed last week against Scotland and that (dubious forward pass) try been disallowed they would have finished above Wales, the winners last year. We have some serious work to do if we’re going to go one better than the last World Cup.
Wales should have offered Edwards a proper contract before Pivac took over, they definitely missed a trick. Welsh regions were very poor last couple of years and it's starting to reflect in the national squad.
