    Hello,

Because of recent restrictions in my country Im trying to find out what the stock dB level is for the trident. at 3-5k rpm and idle.
Im also looking for if somebody has the homologated Zard Exhaust and has the sound levels for it. both at idle and 3-5k rpm

    Thanks for your answers.

Welcome to the forum! Triumphs are sold in Denmark so presumably they meet noise level requirements with stock exhausts.

Yes you are correct, What i was trying to figure out was the exact sound level compared to the homologated Zard exhaust. But i assume thats its the same sound level since its homologated, but i cant find anything about it. Guess i should have tried it explain it better haha.

Welcome to the family. Do a search on YouTube I'm sure someone has the note you are looking for or try the website and ask them for a clip. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show the inmates your new steed if you have it already.

    Hey!

Thanks a lot. I have searched Youtube with only a single clip that's 11 seconds long. I have emailed the exhaust manufacturer but they are not the quickest.
The bike is packed away in a friends heated garage until the weather gets better, but i will be sure to share some pictures in the summer!

There you go just keep checking and sooner or later some one will want us all to listen to their exhaust note. Maybe try Facebook.

I seem to remember me 94 trident had something similar to the following , 94db at moderate rpm , something like 6000 ?.
Was a very quiet bike even at near redline rpms.
I drilled about 5 or 6 evenly spaced 8 mm holes through the end caps into the main chambers of the mufflers , made the note deeper and possibly added only 1 or 2 db , was still quiet , except for max rpms , where it might have drawn the ire of environmentalists !! But never did those speeds or rpms in town ;););)
