There is a set of Daytona 900 Super III forks on 'Bay. Do you guys think this would be a viable upgrade for my '96 Trident, or should I stick with the stock forks and look at adding a set emulators or intimidators?

It looks like the ones on 'Bay would need new stations or at least rechroming.

    -Cheers, DD.

Stick with your own and upgrade them with the intiminators.
Might be worth trying progressive springs first for what they cost ?
'At least rechroming' sounds like a non starter to me.

gotta say I dont think the progressive springs did much for my Sprint, I have added a thicker oil and upped the volume a bit with little reward.
and by the time you have paid out for second hand worn out forks and had them chromed or new stanctions , emulators etc it is an big expense with little gain . It is a 20 yr old plus bike, very topheavy and basic, could never be a fireblade
I am sure others will disagree tho,lol

In my trident I have ZXR750H2 fork springs inc home made spacer and fork tops, plus 10 grade fork oil. Set to give 25mm static sag. Works perfect for me.
Unless you are at a race circuit folks have little need for adjustment.
