Hi, I'm tri-man, a handle I've used since the 90's. I'm new to this forum, but not to other motorcycle forums, I like triplesonline.com and britbike.com in particular, accessnorton.com and sometimes the Ratnet. I'm looking forward to see what this forum is like, and where it will go. I don't really spend a lot of time on forums, but they can be very useful in sourcing technical or other info. I'm not on facebook as I'm not really very friendly...except on forums! I have owned and ridden Triumph motorcycles since 1975, I've never been without one, even if I've owned other makes on the side sometimes. My current road bikes are a 95 900 Daytona that I've ridden 172.000km from new, and a 1972 Trident. I've owned too many Meriden bikes to list, and also quite a few Hinckleys. My wife rides a Triumph Street Twin she bought when they came out, trading in her 2009 SE. The basement is packed with projects, mostly Triumph but also a BSA A75. So that's me, hope I'll like it here!
Thanks to all for the warm welcome! I like all things Triumph, old and new, I have some experience wrenching and tuning them, and like to share some of my knowledge if it can be of any help to anyone, but I'm also open minded and eager to learn from other people. There's always a lot to learn! I won't be the most active member I think, too busy to sit by the PC for hours on end, like today when I've been out and about on my Trident, having fun in the glorious sun. What a great way to live! Ta, see you later!
Hi Tri-man and welcome to the Triumph Asylum - Nursie will be along soon with your medicine. Norway eh ? I used to visit Oslo often in the 70's when I worked for Tandberg. Living in France now.
Wilkommen from Germany, Facebuck sucks, as does Starbooks! And we are all extremely unfriendly and humorless on here You will enjoy us very much. Have a great time and lots of fun with a great bunch! Daniel
