Can anyone recommend a good race school??
Never been on a track before, before I put my Speedy T on one I figure
It might be a good idea to do a race school or similar, preferably on their bike not mine
    For first attempt...
What's your thoughts? Recommendations or simply where to get the best deals??
    Thanks

Thanks Metbandit, I will check these two out...
Figure the school would be best start before the novice day...

I've done the Ron Hasalm and it was very good..
A mate did the Ron with me and he has since done the Chris walker as well..
He said he preferred the Chris walker. Was a brilliant afternoon and very informative sessions..
There is a lot more classroom time apparently..
There is a good possibility we will both be going again this year..to Chris Walkers school..
But no matter which one you go too you will have a great time.... Watching Ron lap the track is something else... He is faster with a pillion than 90% of the students if not more.....

    Hi Jim
I did the Chris Walker race school and really enjoyed it. The instructors were brilliant on the track and Jamie Whitam taught us loads of little tips ( which worked a treat) in the classroom . Although I wasn't anywhere near the quickest round Mallory I still managed to slice 15 seconds off my first lap ( 3 hours 12 min 26 sec ) by the end of the day . You will be looking £400+ for a half day which is a little steep but it's certainly a day to remember .

Did you ever have a go Jimdiesel , just wondered because I would have recommended the Californian superbike school , I don't know whereabouts you're from in the country but they mainly work from Rockingham , although they do go to other circuits occasionally .

Not sure Jim is still an active member here as the traitor has sold his Triumph and is moving to a Bavarian Tractor. Not sure he did the race school thing but will ask him next time I see him.
