Torque Value

    I'd appreciate it if someone could advise torque on a '23 Speed Triple 1200RS steering stem nut.

    Hello, it is 90NM but would recommend putting a small amount of medium lock-tite as I have seen more than two where the nut has come off whilst riding and I assume this is what happened to you.

    As a socket is needed to tighten this, and space prevents a wrench, the last thing I would need far from home is to hope I can find a garage with a 38mm socket...so I safety-wired it.

    A workshop manual is a must IMHO if your doing work like that.
