Top Box For Scrambler 1200

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a givi style ali top box but I don't think there's an adapter plate yet.

Are there any work arounds or universal adapters that might do the job?

Thanks but it's specifically the aluminium one I'm after - think it'll look good with the bike

If it helps I have managed to fit a Givi Dolomiti ali top box to my Scrambler 1200 XE, I used the standard Givi universal baseplate (E251) and attached it with the supplied clamps to the optional triumph rack. Seams to work really well but have to a careful how much weight is put into the box so as to not overload the standard rack. Picture attached

 

Ask dilli to fabricate one - he has a sheet of MDF going now

 

Could you do me a favour Coastrider? I have the standard GIVI plate too and need to fit it to a Scrambler, Could you take a photo of the underside of the plate (or the top of the plate with the cover off) to show how you located the bolts?

I had a quick look the other night and couldnt easily see how the plat was going to fit onto the rea rack plate.
