A bloody migraine is more fun than a Reliant Robin!! My (ex)next door neighbour had one (a Reliant Robin, silly!) and he told me so. Must be true then. (He also had a Kawasaki GT750 with a top box and therefore must be honest and trustworthy. Possibly.):)

Apart from the petrol tank which is very prone to rusting from the inside out.:( My neighbour, who we can call John (for that is his name), used up many hours of his life trying to find a good second hand tank, followed by several more hours putting tank liner/sealer in the damn thing.: unamused: He was almost successful too! He was well pissed off though!

One of my GT750 tanks leaked fuel
From both sides behind the screw on Kawasaki tank badges :(
Removed tank and removed badges then dumped the petrol at work
Stuck a hose pipe in it and turned the tap on and went and had my dinner while it flushed out :)
Then stuck an air line in it to get rid of any fumes that might be left over :p
    Then WELDED it
It worked a treat as I filled it right up to brim and left it for about 4days fitted back on the bike :)then I used the bike for 2yrs with no problems until some thieving lowlife scum stole it while I was at work

With typical lack of timing I shall be heading down across the German alps towards Italy and lake como that weekend
The sad part is that I shall be doing so by car as Mrs Shergar doesn’t do bikes any more
She did 30 years ago but always tried to lean the other way round bends S she felt I was just arsong about to scare her so maybe for the best.
