Hey there everyone I'm living in Dunedin, New Zealand, but I'm from the UK. I emigrated here in July 2021, so not long here. I am Irish originally, but lived in East Sussex for 25 years, before coming here. I am here with my partner and she has children living in Queenstown, and that is one of the reasons we're here. I bought a 17 year old Triumph Speedster today after taking a test ride yesterday. It was the first time I was on a motorcycle for probably 20 + years, and I was 'brikin' it prior to my ride, but it was actually like riding a bike, once you know!! I also tested a Harley Low rider speedster 887, which was really nice, but I am anxious about coming off round corners, as there is only 24 degrees lean on it. This Speedster I bought is such a clean and tidy bike, with only 11,000 KMS on the clock, which I purchased from a Harley Dealer in Dunedin. Plus it has a pillion seat and pegs, and the Harley didn't, and I want to carry my lovely partner on it. It looks like new in my eyes, a sweet bike to ride and lots of power. So excited as I am picking it up tomorrow from the shop. Good to be a member of the Triumph Forum everyone. Cheers Tom

@Tom Robinson Greetings, Tom, and welcome to the forum. Great intro. Congratulations on that new-to-you Triumph. It definitely sounds like it has found a good home in you. And welcome back to the world of riding! Have a great time getting back in the saddle and I hope your partner enjoys riding, too. Enjoy the forum and please share a photo or two of your bike with us!
