(As I won't get the chance tomorrow) The 4th of July is a very special day where we Brits give thanks to the country that saved us from destruction . . . . . . No not during the world wars ! . . . . . . . But when President Thomas J. Whitmore gave a speech and Captain Steven Hiller & David Levinson blew up a big motherfucking alien ship in 1996. yeah exactly Rule Britannia Bitches!
Enjoy your Independence Day America. I’ll be celebrating my first Wedding Anniversary too. Hoping it’s a good day for everyone.
Congrats, @freck! Gotta celebrate those special days in style. Happy Anniversary to you and Mrs. Freck.
Thanks Phred and Sandi Yes, as far as I know they’re allowed, however they’re probably sold in shops that aren’t allowed to be open yet. They’re not seen here much of the year apart from Bonfire night (or Guy Fawkes night as some call it)
A heart felt thank you to all my British friends. Today we celebrate our independence. And just look at all the wonderful....oh crap. Thanks anyway.
Is today the holiday when all my neighbors get drunk and play with explosives ? Gee, what could go wrong ? …J.D.
I think the British Army sum it up.. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=266811314551024 "Not in the harbour.".
