Replaced the original rear brake hose with braided version. Put 2 new cooper washers on the front and 2 on the rear. Tried bleeding the system using the rear pedal Nothing no drop in fluid level, so bought a vacuum version again nothing. Stupidly I did not check how many washers were originally on the front and rear. Have I put too many washers on thus blocking the system. Tried looking at diagrams on site no joy. Any ideas, Thank you

You would normally bracket a banjo connection with a washer each side.

    One suggestion is:-
Put a length of bleed tube on the bleed nipple (Bleed valve closed)
Pump the foot pedal a few times to build up pressure in the system.
Then open the bleed valve and see if fluid is forced out.

I assume that you have checked to make sure that there is no blockage in your new hose?? Callumity is correct in that you should have a copper washer each side of the banjo on the brake line, are they the same thickness as the original?? They should be correct if they came with the brake line.
