Tiger Cub Primary Chain Case Oil

    Good morning All,

    I've just exported my 1958 Cub from UK to Sydney Australia and in the process of servicing it i've hit a snag. According to the manual, the primary chain case requires SAE 20 oil which unfortunately is not available in Australia. Does anyone have any idea what i could use instead?

    Use motorcycle specific engine oil or auto trans fluid.

    You must have SAE 20 fork oil. Or just use an engine oil 20/40

    Thanks for all responses. I spoke to a vintage bike shop here and they also recommended auto transmission oil which is readily available.
