Tiger 955i

hi all looking to pick some brains

ive got a 2001 tiger and in process of servicing it ive also got a smashed 2005 tiger as a parts bike

i notice the fuel pump is different from 01 to 05 would there be any benefit to to put the 05 system in the 01 ?
also the ECU looks the same but different map number i have plugged it in and bikes seems to run fine with it

also one of the vac pipes to the idle valve was off so just want to check each pipe goes to the corresponding nipple left to right ? (1st one on idle valve is the blank?)
