Tiger 800 Xrx Or Xr Because Of Display?

    I`m looking to get a low tiger 800 and before i part with readies i have been googling.
    It seems the xrx digital display tablet goes t.ts up and is £900 to replace.
    Where as the xr has a more analogue type?
    Coming from years of Hondas but getting older i find big tourers too much to lug about.
    Has many here had any problems i should look out for before i buy
