Hi, I’ve just joined the forum and looking for some advice on the above. Having just bought soft luggage for my 2014 XC, I’m looking to sell the hard luggage if I can find out how to remove/replace the locks matching my own bike’s keys. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Rob
Hello Rob and welcome to the forum If it’s the Adventure luggage that you want to remove the locks from then a few peeps on the Tiger800 forum have come up with a home made tool using a 2mm Allen Key ground down to remove the locks. Some have successfully removed the locks at the first attempt others have struggled. I’ve never had cause to remove any locks myself so haven’t tried this method. Hi Tiglet, that’s really helpful, so thanks for posting and I’ll have a go at making a tool to see if I can get it to work
