    Hi All,

I’m installing a set of OEM heated grips to my ThruxR and want to get the sub-harness routing correct. The four and two pin connectors, clutch and throttle sides respectively, went in and hooked up without issue. They are routed as per the Trimph destructions, under the top yoke and around the fork legs following the existing looms. However, the destructions do seem to miss a specific routing plan for the leg of the ‘Y’ of the sub-harness. It is stated that the sub-harness lays on top of the loom on the left and passes through the frame to the heated grip connector on the right.

The bit I’m not getting is the route of the right hand, throttle side cable. Should it go between the headstock and the ingnition switch housing? This does appear to be the only route that will allow sufficient length to rout the ‘Y’ leg as described.

As they say, a picture is with a thousand words, so if anybody would be good enough to post a picture or two of a factory heated grip sub-harness installation in the headstock area, that would be very helpful.

    Many thanks,
    Twig
