This Is A Scam? Right?

There is an address listed in Oldham, may be worth one of the forum members in that neck of the woods to 'av a gander'
If its too good to be true then it generally is.

 

This is in the village where I grew up. I'll go and have a look tomorrow morning.

 

yeah looks well dodgy all 90 bikes listed at silly prices..I'm guessing he's looking for your bank details

 

Yes, I agree with you Sprinter, hopfefully Andy will decide not to go or we might see his bike on there next.

 

It's a scam mate low prices in hacked accounts only contact is an email you pay and they deliver but they don't and your dollar is gone always seeing these on ebay and report them

These type of scams have been appearing on eBay for quite a while now.
You pay and get no bike

 

So someones ebay account has been hacked ? In that case there's no point in me going up there. I do know where it is. The address given on the advert is near where a couple of my mates lived about fifty years ago. Their dad got them an old C50 and we used to take turns riding it up and down the lanes. We were about fourteen at the time. We thought it was great at the time.

 

I think you'd be wasting your time going round to the address Andy.

Let's face it if someone is running a scam them it's unlikely that they'd use there home address.

These scammers often use a photo of a previous advert, not necessarily from a eBay listing.

You pay a deposit or full amount for a bargain and you end up with nothing.

These scams are appearing more and more, seen quite a few which have been highlighted on a couple of 2 stroke forums that I view. Scammers selling lc's for ridiculously low prices.
