So,i take it there`s nothing wrong with the 1200 then due to the lack of replies:laughing:
Well. that bike sold before i got to it as he would`nt answer the phone.

So today i went up to Staffs Triumph in Stoke to have a mooch. I tried a 1200,900 Tiger ,BMW 1200GS & a 1260 Multistrada.

For me i found the 900 Tiger the best compromise for weight & comfort so thinking of going for the 900 Pro instead or 800XRT?

Unfortunately they had`nt got one the right spec or price for me so i`ll see what comes along.

I did read on here of problems with the TFT screen? Anything else to worry about chaps??

I've had no issues with the TFT but only had the bike since last may and it doesn't get left in any wet weather my brother has the 1200 and although he is bigger, younger than me has trouble getting his on the centre stand not an issue for me on the 900 and it is an accessory I'm glad is fitted to the GT Pro good mpg with a decent size fuel tank not anything else I can tell you about it really as I have had no problems and enjoy every minute riding the bike and have no intention of replacing it anytime soon
Maybe with the 800 sport or 800 trident which is a totally different motor to the old 800

Another happy 900 gt pro owner here. Its the best tiger I've ever had. ( I've owned most tiger models over the years ).

Tft screen is fine. Only problem with mine is the fact I've never got it to pair with my phone. Third world problems :p

I hated the original metzelers fitted to it. Not good in the wet and they tramline too on poor surfaces. A set of road 6's transformed the handling.
